Delight Me, 2015
HD video
In the English-speaking world the pictured white cubes are known as 'Turkish Delights'. We call them 'Loukoumia' and the Turkish call them 'Lokum'. He is dressed in white on a white table and plays with the white dust as a symbol of peace. He is also framed faceless to hide his enjoyment while listening to the song of the cicadas.
The action was repeated live as a performance in the street (available here).
The title is a wordplay on the English term.
